Who would have thought that a simple act of maternal support would lead to such a remarkable journey? As a young mother, I found myself accompanying my daughter, Aaliyah, to her modelling auditions. Little did I know that this would be the spark that ignited my own passion for the entertainment industry.

Aaliyah, a seasoned model since the tender age of six months, had already captured the hearts of many. During one of her castings, an agency approached me with an intriguing proposition. Initially hesitant, I was encouraged by the opportunity and decided to take the leap.

What followed was an unexpected whirlwind of modelling and acting opportunities. I embraced each role with enthusiasm, from a model to a heartwarming family character. Sharing the modelling with my children was a truly magical experience, creating lasting memories that we cherish together.

Beyond my on-screen modelling assignments  my heart lies in fashion design. Inspired by my father’s impeccable style and my aunt’s sewing skills, I began to explore my own creativity. Through self-taught techniques and formal education at Stockton-on-Tees College, I honoured  my skills and developed a unique aesthetic vision.

My journey has been filled with challenges and triumphs. I have faced adversity, including domestic abuse, and emerged stronger. I share my story to inspire others to overcome obstacles and pursue their dreams. I will Empower you at the Academy.
